But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
~ Galatians 5:22-23
Nimbus Christian Education desires a learning environment in which God’s love is shown to all. With that in mind all students and staff will strive to adhere to the following:
The Learning Environment
Students and staff will treat all other students and staff with respect. Jesus guiding principle of “Treat others the way you wish to be treated.” is expected to be followed.
The dignity of others will be honoured in word and in deed.
All communication will be polite, respectful and free of profanity or rudeness.
In the event that there is any form of harassment or abuse made the principal will be contacted immediately.
Acceptable Use of Technology Tools
All school provided software, accounts, and logins are to be used in ways that honour God and respect our fellow human beings.
The school reserves the right to monitor all activity that takes place on any school provided platforms and tools.
In the event that there are serious and ongoing concerns with inappropriate use of technology, enrollment at Nimbus Christian Education may be in jeopardy.
Academic Honesty
Plagiarism is defined, by Google definitions, as: “the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.” This practice, whether intentional or accidental, is not acceptable.
Self-plagiarism is not acceptable. This means that a student may not submit the same assignment or work to multiple classes.
Cheating or attempting to gain an unfair advantage in any way is not acceptable.
In the event that a student is academically dishonest their enrollment at Nimbus Christian Education may be in jeopardy.
